The After Party: Event Recaps
Coconut Grooves 4th of July Party at SipSip Rum Bar
Coconut Groove was definitely the move this 4th of July, and the rooftop at SipSip Rum Bar kept things fun all day long.
The pool was packed, the drinks were strong, and the music didn’t miss. DJs kept the energy up with a mix of feel-good tracks — from dancehall and house to classic throwbacks — while people danced, swam, and chilled under the sun.
Frozen piña coladas and rum punches were flowing, and the whole space had that laid-back, tropical feel SipSip is known for. As the sun went down, the rooftop turned golden, and fireworks popped off in the distance — the perfect ending to a day of rooftop fun.
If you know, you know. This one’s already on the list for next year.

Back Of House 4th of July Party at Zey Zey Miami
Back of House threw a 4th of July day party at ZeyZey, and it seriously felt like one big backyard hang with all your favorite people.
The music was on point all day, DJs were spinning everything from house to feel-good edits and Latin cuts that had everyone moving. It wasn’t too polished or over the top, just good energy, great music, and a crowd that was down to dance.
People were posted up with drinks, grabbing bites, cooling off in the shade, and catching up with friends between sets. Once the sun started going down and fireworks went up, the whole spot lit up in the best way.
No wristbands, no velvet ropes — just vibes. Definitely one of those “glad I didn’t miss it” kind of days.

Stigmaz at The Sylvester
Stigmaz Brought the Heat to The Sylvester
On June 19th, DJ duo Stigmaz pulled up to The Sylvester and turned the room into a full-on groove. From the jump, they came through with deep, rolling basslines, crisp drums, and melodic layers that had the whole dancefloor locked in.
Their sound hit that sweet spot—part deep house, part techy, a little melodic, and all about the vibe. The set felt like a slow burn in the best way, building energy without ever doing too much. Just smooth transitions, steady momentum, and track selection that kept heads nodding and bodies moving.
The Sylvester’s cozy, low-key setting made it feel even more immersive—no stage, no barriers, just DJs and dancers sharing the moment. Stigmaz knew exactly how to read the room, and the crowd gave it right back.
If you were there, you already know. And if you missed it? Don’t make that mistake twice.

DayBreaker Party at Iron Side Miami Music Week 2025
Miami, you showed us what resilience and pure joy look like! Daybreaker's debut during Miami Music Week at Ironside Cafe was nothing short of spectacular, proving that even a little rain can't dampen our spirits. We gathered in Ironside Cafe for an early afternoon celebration of wellness and community, a unique twist on the typical Miami Music Week experience. Instead of late-night revelry, we embraced the sunshine (and a few sprinkles!), proving that the best parties happen before sunset. Despite the unexpected rain, the energy was electric! We flowed through invigorating breathing exercises, danced our hearts out to incredible beats, and connected on a level that transcended the weather. To make this debut even more unforgettable, we enjoyed surprise performances by Shimza and Mont Rouge. Their sets ignited the dance floor, transforming a rainy afternoon into a legendary moment. This Daybreaker event proved that Miami knows how to party, rain or shine! The community, the incredible music, and the unwavering positive energy created an experience that will be talked about for weeks to come.

Waves And Raves/We Are Eclipse at Casa Whispers Party
Casa Whispers returned to ZeyZey this past weekend! The venue was packed early, with decorations highlighting the event organizers' Mexican culture. Waves And Raves collaborated with We Are Eclipse from NY in the Disco Room for a stage takeover. Lalo was the first to kick off the night in the Disco, keeping the room energized from start to finish and paving the way for the b2b2b set by Petey Q, JLu, and Tommy LYM. We had a blast covering this event; it is always a pleasure to work with these individuals who are carving out a space here in Miami for their sound to be enjoyed by the masses.
