Night Shift At Macondo

Night Shift flipped the script on Miami nightlife by turning Macondo Coffee Roasters in Downtown into a full-on dance floor. Led by Parkline—the DJ duo of Chad Blumenthal and Brandon Jacques—this pop-up party was about more than just music. It was a break from the usual club routine, proving that the right energy doesn’t need a velvet rope or bottle service—it just needs the right people, sound, and space.

Macondo, known for its cozy daytime atmosphere and strong coffee game, became the perfect setting once the lights dimmed and the music started. Parkline, joined by Miguel Gallardo and Chuck, delivered a night of jazzy, minimal tech-house and Afro-house, creating a smooth, energetic flow that matched the unexpected venue.

This event marked the debut of what Parkline hopes will become a monthly series, bringing electronic music into non-traditional spaces across the city. It made sense that they started with Macondo—both DJs are regulars, and the owner just so happens to be a house music fan himself.

Night Shift is about keeping things simple: good music, good people, and unexpected settings that invite you to stay a little longer. And if the launch party at Macondo is any sign of what’s ahead, Miami’s nightlife is about to get a lot more interesting—one coffee shop at a time.

Art Week 2024 - PNK Party at Tomorrowland

Art Basel Miami brings a flood of events, exclusive parties, and international crowds, but this year, PNK Records managed to stand out in a way few local collectives have. Amid the overwhelming number of competing Art Week events, it was almost unbelievable how strong the turnout was. This wasn’t just a lucky break—it was proof that Pink Records is building something Miami hasn’t seen before.

The newly reopened Tomorrowland Miami provided the perfect venue for the night. Once a pop-up, this space has now become a permanent part of Miami, blending nostalgia, underground energy, and a fresh, modern edge. Normally a cocktail bar with a sleek, Amsterdam-inspired aesthetic, Tomorrowland transformed into an all-day party, shifting effortlessly from laid-back lounge vibes to a full-blown dancefloor experience.

Conveniently located just a few blocks from Space Miami, the venue became the go-to spot for those bouncing between back-to-back Art Week events, whether guests were kicking off their night or keeping the momentum going after an early morning.

The lineup delivered nonstop energy, but ALVES B2B Justin Rabin was easily the highlight of the night. Their set kept the dance floor packed, with a seamless mix of deep grooves and high-energy moments that had the crowd moving from start to finish. Their ability to cultivate such a loyal fanbase and bring people together for something outside the usual Art Basel circuit speaks volumes. It’s clear that PNK Records isn’t just throwing parties—they’re shaping Miami’s underground dance culture in a way that feels fresh, authentic, and necessary.

Huge thanks to PNK Records and Tomorrowland Miami for putting together an event that cut through the noise of Art Week and set a new standard for what’s possible in Miami’s music scene. If this is what they’re capable of now, we can’t wait to see what’s next.

Chus At Mode

Chus took over MODE Miami for a night that blended decades of experience with the intimate energy only this venue can offer. With Gabe Katz on direct support, the night gradually built into a set full of organic house, tribal rhythms, and soulful grooves—the kind of layered sound Chus has perfected over his career.

As the creator of the Iberican Sound and founder of Stereo Productions and Redolent Music, Chus brought his signature style to life inside MODE’s underground setting—formerly a Cold War fallout shelter and now one of Miami’s most immersive spaces.

Backed by the venue’s high-fidelity L-Acoustics sound system, each track landed with warmth and precision, creating a deep connection between artist and audience.

From global stages to Miami’s underground, Chus continues to evolve while staying true to the roots of house music. This set proved why his name still carries so much weight—and why MODE is the perfect place to experience it.
